From the Autostrada A12 – From the S.S. 1 -- From the Coast
From Cecina take the State Road (“S.S.”) 68 towards Volterra. You will pass through the roadside towns of Ponteginori and Saline di Volterra until you start climbing the hill to Volterra. Once you reach Volterra follow the signs towards Colle Val d’Elsa and continue until km 48 (hamlet of Spicchiaiola) and after approximately 50 metres, just after a group of trees on the side of the road, turn left onto the dirt road that leads to “La Torricella”.*

From the Superstrada Firenze-Siena
Exit at Colle Val d’Elsa and follow signs to the S.S. 68 towards Volterra; you will pass through the roadside town of Castel San Gimignano, continuing straight on towards Volterra. At km 48 (the hamlet of Spicchiaiola) you will find a dirt road on your right that leads to "La Torricella".*

*Once you have entered onto the dirt road:
Continue on the dirt road for approximately 2 km, passing through a small stretch of woods and then driving uphill with several curves until you see a tree-lined road in front of you that you should keep to your right (drive to the left of this). Continue for approximately 300 metres and the road will start to go downhill – you will see La Torricella in front of you.
