The building that houses the Farm-Residence
“La Torricella” is part of a historic Tuscan farm
that dates back to the 1800s and was partially renovated in 1999,
with great respect for the traditional architecture that was typically
used in the houses built in the Tuscan countryside. During the
renovations we maintained all of the original cross vaults and
the terracotta arches inside the ground-floor apartment, while,
in the three apartments on the first floor, we maintained the
characteristic wooden rafter ceilings.
Just a few metres away from the apartments there is the historic
Villa Torricella, still inhabited to this day, where there was
once a house-tower in the 14th century.
The Farm-Residence “La Torricella” consists of three
independent apartments which measure 60 square metres each.
Each apartment can sleep up to four persons.
